The question of that role-play is: <strong>&#8220;How certain are we that the global average near-surface air temperature has increased since 1850?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The contributing roles are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>mainstream climate scientist<\/li>\n<li>climate skeptic<\/li>\n<li>journalist<\/li>\n<li>politician.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please prepare for the role-play as described below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Define your role more concretely (e.g. science journalists vs. tabloid journalists) and prepare a sign stating your definition. Bring this to the role-play on 26<sup>th<\/sup> April.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the arguments for your role in the role-play regarding the question (make sure to understand your role\u2019s position to the question, institutional settings and so on\u2026) in your role-group.<\/li>\n<li>Decide upon the tasks: main speaker (stating main points, \u2026) and blogger (writing down notes, observing the discussion\u2026) (<em>the blog post is part of next week\u2019s homework<\/em>).
