Next lecture, you are going to engage in the 4th role-play. The question of that role-play is:\u00a0 \u201eDoes journalism adequately represent the uncertainties with regards to the 2-degree limit?\u201c <\/em>
\n<\/strong>The contributing roles are Journalist, Politician, Climate Scientist, Environmental activist and Media critique (Besserwisser). Please prepare for the role-play as described below :<\/p>\n

  1. Define your role more concretely and prepare a sign stating your definition. Bring this to the role-play.<\/li>\n
  2. Prepare the arguments for your role in the role-play regarding the question in your role-group.<\/li>\n
  3. Decide upon the tasks: main speaker and blogger.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Preparation panel discussion<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    In our second last session, we are planning a panel discussion on the question: Does the “2-degrees-limit” make sense? How certain are we that we can reach it?” Subtitle: Discussion in the seminar “Uncertain 2 Degrees”<\/strong>. The panel discussion will take place on 5<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> July from 10 to 12 for about 60 min<\/strong> with up to 5 panellists representing different perspectives. After the panel discussion, we will have some time to to reflect on what we experienced and what we learned from the panel discussion.<\/p>\n

    To prepare the panel discussion, we want you to engage in the following tasks. Keep in mind to work as\u00a0a team and to delegate tasks.<\/p>\n
